BRaK festival 2018
For its 5th edition, the BrAK festival is back at the Palais Pisztory where it all started. Illustrators, authors and publishers will come from all europe and during 2 days Bratislava will be focused on children’s literature. Artists from the Transbook mobility program will take part to exhibitions and workshops.
Once again this year some authors and illustrators will take part to the BRaK festival through the Transbook mobility program.
The well-known Belgian illustrator Kitty Crowther that has been rewarded with the Astrid Lindgren award a few years ago will be there. She will showcase her dreamy an poetic universe during an exceptional masterclass at the Bratislava cultural center.
Laurent Moreau and Anne-Margot Ramstein will also participate to the event, both of them are showcasing their work during exhibitions and masterclasses. Anne-Margot Ramstein, whose drawings have been published in several famous newspapers (Le Monde, DADA ...), will discuss her work and inspirations.
